Dr Geoff Raby AO (Chair)
Dr Geoff Raby AO is a former Australian Ambassador to China and one of the country’s leading experts in international diplomacy and cultural relations.
He served as Ambassador from 2007 to 2011 and has since remained an influential commentator and advisor on Australia–China affairs. Dr Raby was Chair of VisAsia at the Art Gallery of New South Wales and a passionate supporter of the arts. He donated a significant collection of Chinese contemporary art to La Trobe University, which toured to National Art School in 2024 and the Bendigo Gallery in 2023 and continues to advocate for cross-cultural understanding through the visual arts.
He has recently published Great Game On: the contest for Central Asia and Global Supremacy (2024) and China’s Grand Strategy and Australia’s future in the new world order (2025 2nd edn.), both by Melbourne University Press.
TINA TIN

Tina Tin is the Managing Director of TWT Property Group, a company that has been noted for its support of the arts. She is also the founder of the Bridging Hope Charity Foundation.
TWT Property Group, under her leadership, has established the TWT Creative Precinct in St Leonards, providing studio space to contemporary Australian artists in exchange for artwork, fostering a dynamic artistic community. She established China Australia Art Residency to further focusing on Australia China cultural exchange.
Stephen Fitzpatrick (Director)
Stephen Fitzpatrick, formerly a General Manager at TWT Property Group, was a key figure in both the company's property development operations and their in-house philanthropic arm, Bridging Hope Charity Foundation. In his business capacity, he was involved in significant residential and commercial projects such as New Life/Ultimo and NewLife Bondi Junction, providing insights into design, market trends, and community engagement. Beyond his development work, Fitzpatrick was a strong advocate for Bridging Hope's mission, consistently highlighting its commitment to mental health and arts initiatives. He was instrumental in promoting the foundation's innovative approaches to culturally relevant mental health programs and its dedication to fostering healthy, art-integrated communities.
Ariel Zhang
(Secretary)
Ariel Zhang is the Head of Arts Initiatives at TWT Property Group and Bridging Hope Charity Foundation, where she is instrumental in incorporating art into current operation and future development, fostering cultural exchange, particularly between China and Australia.
She is member of Advisory Management Committee of Institute for Australian and Asian Arts and Culture in Western Sydney University. She manages corporate and foundation art initiatives that support the art ecosystem, including public art projects and artist residencies.

John McDonald
John McDonald is one of Australia’s most respected critics and commentators on art and cinema, best known for his decades as art critic for The Sydney Morning Herald. A former Head of Australian Art at the National Gallery of Australia, he has acted as curator for numerous exhibitions at public and private galleries. He has also judged more art prizes than he can count, always striving to be as objective as possible. Monika Tu OAM is a celebrated Chinese-Australian entrepreneur, cultural ambassador, and passionate advocate for the arts. As the founder and director of Black Diamondz Group, Australia’s premier luxury property and lifestyle brand, she has redefined cross-cultural engagement by connecting high-end real estate with global design, fashion, and philanthropy.
Renowned for building bridges between East and West, Monika plays a prominent role in promoting Chinese-Australian relations through business and cultural integration. Her philanthropic work extends deeply into the arts, where she supports emerging talent, creative innovation, and initiatives that celebrate diversity and inclusivity.
Awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her service to multiculturalism and charitable causes, Monika brings a unique, globally minded perspective to cultural leadership—where luxury meets meaning, and business becomes a platform for artistic and social impact.
Dr Guan Wei
Dr Guan Wei is an iconic figure in the Australian contemporary art scene and critically acclaimed internationally. His art is highly praised not only for its intellectual depth, artistic originality, humanity, and integration of past, present, East and West, but also for its sharp sense of humour and, above all, its unique Guan Wei style.
Through his art, he reflects upon the human condition as we engage with critical contemporary issues, such as climate change, questions of identity, migration and exile. His works are equally the product of his rich cultural repertory of symbols as they are of his informed socio-political awareness and knowledge of art history.
Robert Kok
Robert Kok is a practicing lawyer and in his fifth term as a Councillor for the City of Sydney, having been first elected in 2008. He served as Deputy Lord Mayor from 2011-2012 and again from 2023-2024. A passionate advocate for culturally and linguistically diverse communities through cross-cultural awareness. Robert is also known for his strong understanding of Chinese culture and the city's diverse Asian communities, working to strengthen these relationships both locally and internationally. His interests include international relations, cultural exchange, business innovation, education, and urban planning.
Katrina Cashman
Katrina Cashman is an Australian Curator with over 28 years of experience in leadership and arts management skills in the galleries and museums sector. Katrina has comprehensive experience in Australian contemporary art and in her career has curated over 50 major exhibitions. She is the Gallery Manager and Senior Curator at the National Art School, leading the NAS Galleries team with a culture of excellence in the delivery of strategic cultural programs and major exhibition initiatives. Katrina has worked and held curatorial residencies internationally in Korea, Japan and Indonesia. She holds a Masters of Fine Art and Arts Administration from UNSW.
